The relation between what we see and what we know is never settled. The way we see things is affected by what we know or what we believed.
Through this work, we explored how 'a watermelon' had once looked, and thus by implication how this presented work had been perceived.
Our perception or appreciation of an image depends upon our own way of seeing it.
